This professional mixed flap wheel combines Scotch-Brite material with emery abrasive paper to provide an effective balance between material removal and controlled surface finishing. The alternating abrasive construction makes it particularly useful for jewellery workshops where a consistent finish is required without the aggressive cutting action of a conventional grinding wheel.

Ideal for jewellers, goldsmiths, silversmiths and metalworkers, the wheel can be used for smoothing, blending, cleaning and preparing metal surfaces during different stages of the finishing process.

The Scotch-Brite sections help condition and blend the surface, while the emery sections provide additional abrasive action for removing light scratches and surface imperfections.

It is particularly useful for producing uniform satin and brushed finishes on jewellery and other metal components. The flexible abrasive construction follows the surface more naturally than a rigid abrasive wheel, helping achieve controlled and consistent results.

Available in 240 grit or 320 grit, allowing you to select the finish required:

• 240 grit – the coarser option for stronger smoothing, blending and removal of more noticeable surface marks.
  
• 320 grit – the finer option for refining surfaces and producing a smoother, more delicate satin finish.

With a diameter of 110 mm, width of 30 mm and 6 mm bore, the wheel is suitable for compatible polishing and finishing machines and has a maximum operating speed of 3,200 RPM.
